“We were given a room that was under construction. It smelled of paint and was disorganized. Breakfast is not very good. Staff are not friendly. Asked $250 for 2 people for a Lake Tana boat tour. This is a lot more than the market price.”

“Terrible hotel. No hot water. Windows rattle and whistle in modest wind. No shampoo. At restaurant I asked for hot water. It was yellow. I said I didn't want tea, I wanted hot water. It came back a bit less yellow. Coffee is gross, bitter beyond belief. Very loud at restaurant end of building. They don't turn on generator when power is out (frequent). I heard 4 sisters is much better option.”

“😡😡😡This is the worst hotel ever. Never go!! The male manager (looks like a rat) at the hotel reception is very rude. I give you three reasons.
1. I paid $100 per night in advance through Hotels.com. However, when I checked out, they yelled at me saying that the money had not been paid and demanded to pay.
2. It is stated that this hotel has free airport shuttle service. By the way, this rude reception manager said that he can't provide free airport shuttle service, he said that you have to...

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023.

“This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! ”
