"The inside of the hotel is very nice despite the outside being in disrepair. Was disappointed that the spa amenities were $30 for an hour. We were able to walk to the small town and from there take a local train easily to bigger towns."

"The pictures presented in Expedia are over exaggerated. There were dry pools with algae, old rooms that needed updating, and the spa was a no- go. If mediocre is what you seek, this is the place for you."

"Very peaceful sanctuary with incredibly attentive and helpful staff. The evening dinner while expensive was absolutely amazing! For us it was “WOW” food and plentiful. Actually the two of us could have shared one meal and walked away full! We ate breakfast there all 3 days and don’t regret it. Very convenient and fresh, locally sourced food."
