“The owner takes pride in this property and it’s evident. There was a beautiful big grassed area out front where I could take my dog to sniff around and stretch her legs and also taking the stress off me travelling with a big dog. You can also take your dog behind the motel rooms as it’s fenced around the border. There’s a communal kitchen if the standard bar fridge is too small. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling with a pet.”

“Our stay at the Shamrock Hotel Balranald was poorly managed and unnecessarily stressful. On arrival, we were told only one booking existed despite having two confirmed through Expedia. Even after showing proof, staff insisted we were wrong. It took ~20 minutes and Expedia intervention to resolve, with no apology. Throughout the stay there were repeated issues: incorrect orders and pricing changes at dinner, and more seriously, we were wrongly told our payment had declined. Despite providing...
