I must give special mention to the housekeeping staff, who extended themselves with assuring we had all that may be required. Tip: Stay away from Koló as one of the only hotel-operated restaurants. “Lazy river, pool, or amazing ocean...tough choice! All were outstanding! And the view is amazing from sunrise to sunset, all with Klein Bonaire in the backdrop, can't beat that! Best snorkeling/diving area on the island right there beachfront IMO. Also, everyone is so friendly and accommodating; what more could you ask.”

Could have got 6 people comfortably. It was the best diving and snorkeling we have seen. So many fish! All the restaurants around the hotel were fabulous. Hotel staff was amazing. “The Bellefonte has been by far the absolute best place I have ever stayed. The views are amazing! You literally have everything at your fingertips. It is very close to just about everything there is to do. The rooms are more than you can ask for and the service is immaculate! If you're going to Bonaire, the Bellefonte is where you should stay.”

“Pros: great location out of city. Beach across the street. Pretty surroundings. Clean grounds. Great pizza. Dive shop is excellent. Nice pool. In room kitchen well stocked with utensils. Cons: so expensive for what you get at the restaurant. in general the restaurant was overpriced and just ok. Except the pizza. It was awesome. Lots of kids which were really loud-I only mention this because I read so much how quiet it is. Not so much. Really confusing when you arrive at night. Check in is...

I booked on expedia for next day so that hindered their normal routine of emailing arrival instructions; however, they didn't try and contact me via expedia, nor answered the phone until well after check in. The room had a lot of ants. I found bug spray in a cabinet but then I couldn't stay in the room for the smell of the spray for hours. “The room was spotless the staff very helpful and extremely friendly. Loved the room and kitchenette that had everything we needed complete with a cooler for the beach. The resort had beach towels. The resort felt very calming. And lastly the grocery store was in walking distance ”
