“We had a really nice room; it was spacious, comfortable and witha good bathroom, including separate shower and bathtub. The decor is lovely and has a bit of an old colonial feel. However, this hotel has definitely seen better days. It could do with a bit of maintenance and modernisation to give it a new lease of life. The pool was terrible - very small, dirty and just not a great corner of the hotel plot. The breakfast was nice, but you hvaeto cross the carpark to go to the bar/restaurant......

“Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. “The hotel is situated on dirt roads and is close to nothing. The rooms had dead bugs and it seemed unkept. Our reservation included free airport pickup and free breakfast. However, we had to pay for transfer and no free breakfast. According to the hostess, we paid a special rate and it did not include those items. Also, there is no reception after 3 pm (hard to find the hostess at any time), so if something goes wrong, there is no where to go. Also, the power went out in the middle of the...

“The employees are very helpful and friendly. They book the game drives and boat cruises for you. They also helped us with a taxi to wherever we needed to go! They come in and clean every day. Nice place to stay!”
