"Excellent lodging for visiting the Kasane area and doing Chobe Park activities. Location is a little outside of the main town area, but right next to a supermarket & Nando's restaurant. Lovely outdoor space with our room, which even had a small kitchen. Good breakfast, which we partook of before our activities. "This is a gem of a property. Large rooms, wonderful meals, you can have dinner there as well. Boa, the owner was terrific and made all our excursions reservations for us which was fantastic. 2 swimming pools and a relaxing garden like setting"

"River View is a small resort which offers sn all inclusive experience. The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. There are cooked options for breakfast, a complimentary serve yourself lunch as dinner with two main options. On one of our nights we had a barbeque. They have their own arranged boat safari in the afternoon and early morning game drives. I would definitely recommend River View in Kasane."

"Hotel staff are super nice and the location of the property is perfect if going to Chobe National Park. It’s also a quick ride to the Zimbabwe border to go to Victoria Falls. "

"We found the hotel extremely over priced. It should be half the price, or less. The room is very basic. The decor in the common areas is fairly sparse and dated. They even wanted to charge us to borrow their international adaptor! The service at the restaurant was slow but the staff there were nice. The location is good though. We would not recommend it (unless maybe they drop their price and you're looking for something with no frills.)"

"I didn’t like to be called at 2am to come and repair geyser and we didn’t get morning breakfast I was informed their staff start work at 7am. "

"DO NOT BOOK HERE. Showed up with a pre-paid reservation and were told we had no reservation and they were fully booked. Showed them all the documentation, both in hard copy and on our phone and were told, "No, they made a mistake. We are fully booked and you have no reservation." Further would not help us find an alternative. Wouldn't even call someplace else for us. Our taxi had departed so we were left to wander down the road hauling our luggage and fortunately found a room at the Old House...
