“First of all - do NOT pay in advance on Hotels.com as the owner won't accept this and will claim that he never gets money from Hotels.com. I was too tired to argue, so I paid again at hotel (though I shoved him my e-mail confirmation that all was paid for). “Is a beautiful place indeed the nature is breath taking, but few misses like the internet signal didn't reach oor room and the place is in a remote area so no internet also. Plus the 50 dollars per day for a dog a bit expensive. The rest amazing, friendly staff great views great food o recommend it ”

“Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!”
