“We had a fantastic time at the Mango Valley Hotel. The views were breathtaking, and the property manager was incredibly attentive. The cabins were incredibly cozy, and we definitely plan to return. ”

“The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles...

“Overall it was a nice stay and cleanliness wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, although not sure if the milk is up to standard as it gave one traveller a bad stomach. Tap water was also questionable. Staff are really friendly, but limited English so can be difficult to communicate. Grounds were beautiful, some work was going on during the stay. “This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden. “An good eco-friendly, VEGAN hotel in the Tilarán Mountains between San Ramon and La Fortuna, surrounded by a tropical cloud forest. Meals included the local Casado plus international dishes with mock meats.”

“Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. ”
