“Construction was a bit annoying”

“The property, which is in a natural preserve, needs better upkeep. The rooms are dated and our bathroom had lots of mold, which is totally unacceptable. Also, the rooms are spread all around the property through trails and you go up and down the mountain to reach them. This, in the suffocating heat and humidity, is exhausting. There is no A/C anywhere in the property except the bedrooms. The restaurant is ok, but again: no A/C, limited options. The one shining pearl in all this was the SPA. I...

“Family of 4 (kids 12 and 12). We had a great time, great vibe and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the food (smaller selection but different themes and items everything). Wait staff and bartenders and front desk very helpful. Our room had some things like poor water pressure, one shower was cold. Some ants I. One of the room but they kept to themselves on the wall and didn’t bother us too much. Amazing sunsets and beautiful view. Jigged into town via beach in 20 minutes…walk in 45 minutes....

However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything.”

Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses.”
