"This is a second tome we stayed at the hotel. First time was four years ago and it was quiet boutique hotel, now it's in process of expansion. We love the place and would come back. I included the negative responce about it to inform, not to deter. The highlights: You can walk to the river, it's a short hike, and swim in there, very beautiful spot to take photos. "This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"

"The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"

"Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. "
