“Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. Am nördlichen Ende der Bucht...

“Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. ”
