“La Biche au Bois est un véritable petit coin de paradis. L’accueil y est chaleureux, la literie d’un grand confort, et un délicat parfum dans la chambre rend l’arrivée particulièrement agréable. David a été aux petits soins pour le petit-déjeuner, ce qui a été très apprécié. La salle de bain est spacieuse, bien aménagée et parfaitement équipée. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir ! Merci à vous deux pour ce (trop court) moment 😊”

“The hotel was a bit difficult to find for out cab driver, but only 10 euros for the drive. The place he let us off was downhill from the hotel, so a bit of a steep climb up. Have your driver drop you above the hotel on Blvd Eugène Le Roy at Côte de Toulouse. About 5 min walk downhill from there, but on cobblestones. Great location near many restaurants, the restaurant next door had beautiful live jazz. Sarlat is an incredible walking city. Great petite déjeuner at the hotel. Really nice staff...

“The hotel was very lovely, situated up on top of the hill. Took one or two tries with Google Maps to get the right turn but there are also signs for the hotel itself on the roads. About a 25 minute walk back up the hill, but not too bad. And a quick stroll down! The room was very comfortable, the hotel owner was extremely friendly and helpful with local suggestions. And the breakfast was delicious! Would definitely stay again.”

“Very clean room, staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the old town of Sarlat and we are already planning to stay there again. However, we will probably book a larger room. The room we had was perfectly acceptable from an amenities and decor point of view, just a little on the small side.”
