Wonderful stay. Looking forward to returning.

Well kept historical farm. Bonus awesome short walks nearby. Very peaceful when needed. Deer park walk includes carless country lane, a huge estate to explore and paths to contemplate the peacefulness. Followed by great meal and people afterwards at the tavern next door to Ash Farm. Plush room and shower to cozy up in. Best breakfast ever: atmosphere, fresh fruit, all homemade food, and personal quality service from the owner and his chef.

This place was amazing. Fresh cooked breakfast, comfortable bed. The staff was amazing and friendly. 5 stars! Our only regret is not staying here longer.

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. An absolute gem of a hotel. Wonderful in all respects!

Decor is nice and furnishings luxurious. Fresh milk in the fridge for the Nespresso maker and a bottle of water! Comfy bed and spacious room and large bathroom.

Loads of room. Well decorated. Very quiet

The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Loved it! Cute town and lovely breakfast. Nice restaurant at the neck back Pecks and casual pub food at the front. On small thing service was slow in the pub food and breakfast. Seems understaffed! Eveything else was great.

ACH is a very clean hotel. The hosts excel in delivering an enjoyable stay and were very accommodating during our stay and the scones were amazing! The room had a very comfortable bed with pristine linen. A very relaxing bedroom. The bathroom was spotless. The shower is a little small but this is not an issue as it worked well for me and I’m 6 ft 4 inches! The room was great but my highlight has to be breakfast. Go for the full English and you’ll get a fresh cooked breakfast with black...
