“Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,...

“Spotless B&B with 4 interestingly decorated rooms, run by a very nice couple. The breakfast was generous and included multiple home-made items. Strongly recommended, but I would suggest not having too large a car as the turn into the parking area is tight. Close to the beach.”

“Our stay at the Hôtel Le St Patrice was great. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Bayeux, but separated just enough to not be chaotic. Our room (the family quad) was very clean and the beds were comfortable. This was a great jumping off point for tours of the D-Day sites and Mont Saint-Michel. The host/owner, Aileen, was charming and helpful.”
