“On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. ”

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent with plenty to see and do nearby. We would happily stay here again.”

“Beautiful venue and rooms were lovely, unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable which was a shame, it looked like 2 divans had been put together to make a king size and there was a hard beam running down the middle of the bed. It didn’t ruin the stay it was just a bit disappointing for such a lovely place. However the cleanliness was top notch and I felt happy overall.”

“The cottage was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.”

“It's OK. The hotel looks better on the outside than on the inside. Sauna/Steam room/Swimming pool are good. Rooms a bit dirty and outdated. No aircon.”

“Brilliant spa and wonderful stay”

“Breakfast was just ok, certainly not really a good value. Rooms are dark, low ceilings, out-updated furniture, etc. All in all, the hotel is good enough, though one may not think of it as a spa like experience, especially when considering that this is one of the attractions/ amenities that they are offering & advertising.”

“Very good location for you to enjoy Cotswold. Lovely, spacious and clean room and kind staff. Breakfast was also satisfactory. You can enjoy your stay. Everything was what I wanted during my stay. In addition to it, I can park my car without any charge. I wanna visit again sooner or later. ”

“Very old building, yet very charming. Many small sitting areas to read and to relax and they are really very cute. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. A great experience for me. ”

“Amazing hotel & apartment in Cotswold area. We stayed at an apartment and it was really convenient and comfortable. Suits for both short term stay and long term stays as there're dish washer, washing machine, even liquid soap! But sofa bed was too soft and not firm enough to sleep. Breakfast was good also.”

“I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Perfectly situated for day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The definition of quaint and charming cottage in the English countryside. We had dinner and breakfast every day and the food is amazing!! ”
