“decent place to stay in cork. not sure how long it’s been going on or how long it will continue, but when i stayed there was super loud construction or something outside my window all night for all 3 nights i was there. other than that the room was clean and the location is good, just a short walk from the city centre.”

Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. “The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”
