“We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment and overall had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. The views across the golf course were beautiful and it really is somewhere you can unwind and slow down. Looking out over the open landscape was incredibly peaceful. My main disappointment was the cleaning. The communal area leading to the apartments didn't appear to have been cleaned when we arrived. I deliberately waited a couple of days to see if it would be attended to, but by the third day the same...

“Staff very helpful and nice relaxed atmosphere. Prices are OK although I thought the deserts were overpriced. Quick check in and out. No fridge in the room”

“Warm welcome, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well prepared and excellent choice of hot and cold food and drinks.”

“I really like the atmosphere and the staff are so helpful. It seems they are nicely staffed, so there was no waiting which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay there again.”

“It's very nice and in a beautiful location.”

“Do not be fooled by the pictures it’s very tired. It smells. The windows not cleaned on don’t know how long. Faulty towers would be better and certainly not worth half of what they charge. Unless blind and lost sense of smell. Avoid.”

“Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. We would have liked to have had a later breakfast especially as it was Sunday . Although the breakfast service was...

“Clean room, fluffy towels, comfy bed, could do with modernisation.”

“Beautiful place, very scenic and welcoming. Staff helpful and polite, only downside was parking was a bit of challenge on arrival (check-in time) as the golf club was very busy. Otherwise no problems and a lovely room.”

“Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...
