“This could have been great. They definitely tried to update the vibe and it did hit some good marks. We arrived after 10 pm. We had noted this on our reservation and they stated their office was open until midnight. When we arrived there was a note on the office door to call a number. When I called the lady said she had just stepped out but we could let ourselves into the room bc the door was unlocked and THE KEY was on the nightstand. That felt unsafe! “The room was comfortable, but had a kind of musty smell. It would have been nice to be able to open the window. Excellent location and plenty of parking. It was clean but could have used new carpets and paint here and there. It would have been nice to have more information about the shared bathroom. It had 2 toilet stalls and 2 working shower stalls all in one unisex bathroom that was similar to what you might find in a college dormitory.”

“The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed were very comfortable. It had a microwave, refrigerator and very spacious. Breakfast was basically tea, coffee, bagels, cereal, oatmeal packets, and creamer packets for your coffee. I would stay there again. The wild center is 6 minutes away from the hotel. The town of Tupper lake is small. The restaurant The Woodshed on Park is amazing. It is a must go to.”

“Lovely hostess at this bed & breakfast where we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. It checked everything on my wish list: relaxing atmosphere, clean room decorated in theme, lake access and a place to sit and enjoy the water and nature. I hope to return !”

“I would just note that the bedrooms are on the top floor and there are stairs going to the ground floor where the living area, balcony, kitchen and dining area are. The rooms were lovely cabins with lots of room. It included all types of goodies to make your stay welcoming. In the bathroom there were toiletries, a hair dryer, and soft fluffy towels. “Hotel itself was nice and supposedly non-smoking facility. However, room smelled if smoke and guests were smoking right outside the entrance and not 25 feet away as posted. Will not stay here again for that reason ”
