"Beautiful warm and welcoming cabins right on the lake. Also a fantastic place to stay in winter. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive, even in the "off season" for the area. Wonderful retreat for writers, base for snowshoers or for anyone who loves the quiet of winter. "

"This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient, the hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was a nice bonus as well. The only disappointment was the pool, which was advertised as heated but was cold, with AC running in the pool area.

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is in a great location. Right on a lake, which is common in this area, and close to the heart of the town.
Our suite had a great picture window that looked right over the little lake out back, very Stephen King. "

"Excellent stay from start to finish. The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The location was perfect, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

"Room was small but very well appointed.
Our room had a nice view of St. Bernards Church and
Lake Flower beyond. Breakfast downstairs was excellent!!
The parking garage was also a pleasant surprise.
Car was nice and clean after the nights snow storm.
Can’t say enough good things."
"The room was absolutely gorgeous but what really made this trip special was a wonderful and gorgeous and thoughtful stuff especially Charmaine K. She went out of her way to make us feel warm and welcome, and by doing that she secured us as annual customers and guess because this will definitely be your annual getaway for that Christmas Eve feel at this hotel is the best pic in all of Lake Placid with beautiful views, clean rooms and a wonderful staff."
"Super easy Check in and check out - super friendly staff - communication excellent during a maintenance issue that did not involve or impact our stay. Very comfortable - quiet - everything we needed while we were there for a hockey tournament. We will definitely be back if we are in Lake Placid again. Thanks for a great stay. "

The sauna, spa, and hot pool were absolute highlights. Everything felt luxurious and perfectly maintained, making it the ideal place to unwind. The ambiance throughout the lodge is truly unmatched — elegant, peaceful, and so comfortable.
Highly recommend Whiteface Lodge for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway! 🎄✨"
