“Wonderful establishment overall. Great made to order breakfast, good service and friendly staff. The requirement of a water taxi to get to the hotel while daunting at first, is not an issue at all as they are cheap and plentiful. Our room had a great ocean view. The housekeeping and Turndown services were perfectly timed.”

“We stayed at Maytenus (Blue house) for 3 nights in the 3 bedroom unit. The place is spacious, safe, quite and comfortable. Patricia and Pablo were very kind and very accommodating to all our requests and also very helpful with the area. This place is only about 15 mins walking distance to Charles Darwin Research Station or into town. If you prefer taking taxi, it's convenient and only $1.50 flat fee to/from anywhere in the area. This place is like home away from home.”

“I was tired from traveling when I first arrived, but the staff were gracious and very attentive. I do not speak much Spanish, but everyone was patient and we got on very well. The rooms are clean and spacious, nothing extravagant, but when you are in the Galapagos you want to get out and explore! When I was in my room I was very comfortable. “This hotel was excellent, primarily because of its great location, making it easy to walk anywhere. On the first day, the staff provided a kind and thorough explanation, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The thoughtfully arranged amenities were also impressive.
