“The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to rent beach chairs, which was an awesome bonus. The property is retro and as advertised. Not fancy and could use some upgrades, but perfect for a budget friendly beach getaway. Great location.”

“Don't expect an early check in even if you get an email offering it because the hotel doesn't uphold it even when it was approved. Drove 13 hours to have to wait almost 5 hours for my room, because upon arrival I was told "we don't do that amymore" well then, why was i offered and approved for an early check in then. Getting towels was like asking for gold. All and all not worth 1400 for 5 nights.”

“My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. “The Dunes at Tybee Island is my go-to hotel. The place is old but very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and cold after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is a huge bonus, but restaurants are within walking distance. The pier and beach are a few blocks from your door. The pool is just steps from your room and so clean and refreshing.
