“We had an amazing stay. As a regular traveller I have stayed in many resorts, hotels and holiday rentals Kurulu Estate is top notch and one of the most tranquil and relaxing places I have stayed. It is very secluded, with only two rooms on the property. It is in the jungle overlooking the mountains. This place really is a treasure. The whole time my husband kept asking me, "how did you find this place?" We were upgraded to the "best room". The design of the room was gorgeous, service was amazing...

“This was the most amazing place to stay. First and foremost the staff were the most friendly and helpful you could imagine. The facilities at Hantara were incredible with a pool which was immaculately clean. Our lodge was spacious,characterful and spotlessly clean. The staff arranged a safari for us in Udawalawe National Park which is very close by. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone at Hantara.”

As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30. The same for dinner.
