"Please ask the Receptionist if there is a Shower Stall in the Bathroom or is it open shower area. Water from the Shower can run off on the floor of the Bathroom.
Please ask if there is a stand or a fixture to place your suitcase inside the room ."

This was truly perfect—better than we could have hoped for. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully quiet, and full of great ambiance. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. Amal and Bertrand were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.

We arrived after check-in time but the manager was waiting to take us to our room and give us our welcome rum punch drinks. The room was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again.

We arrived after a long day of travel and were greeted warmly right away. They had an english-speaking staff member who was very helpful and showed us to our bungalow. We had a private veranda with a beautiful view (once the sun came up the next day), a nice room with a mini fridge and a safe and an air conditioner. The room was cleaned daily. The included breakfast was wonderful and a great touch--eggs, bacon, sausage, cured meats and cheese, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bread for toast, cereal and...

My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. From there, it was easy to make day trips in our rental car (a necessity) around Grand-Terre and Basse-Terre. The hotel is charming and immaculate, and most of the rooms are quiet bungalows with jungle views. Ste. Anne and Ste. Francois are easy drives for meals, but we spent several meals dining at the hotel's restaurant, Mango. You...

The property is perched at the top of a hill overlooking the small town with a beautiful view of the ocean in the background. The service was impeccable, my spouse and I barely spoke French but it did not get in the way of the service or the experience. The rooms were cleaned daily with new towels provided. I would definitely stay here again whenever I return to the island.

We had a very pleasant week at Habitation Du Compte. The restaurant is quite good. Chef Anthony prepared a gourmet Valentine's Day dinner. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's just a short drive to some of the beautiful beaches on Guadeloupe. The nearby town of Sainte Rose nearby has several good restaurants as does Deshaies a further drive away.
