“We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday. We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children. Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run. We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded. The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it. The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment....

“Very friendly and helpful service. Hôtel is conveniently located and the small spa is nice (although no pool). Food options however are limited. Breakfast is decent but avoid half board. The ground floor restaurant basically reuses left over breakfast items! ”

“Hôtel bien situé avec une belle piscine couverte. Personnel très agréable. Chambre familiale spacieuse. Par contre, forte odeur désagréable de fuel dans les parties communes (La Tapiaz) durant tout le séjour. Pas possible de profiter du balcon de la chambre 5 sans être dérangé par le bruit de la ventilation de la piscine. Quelques détails qui pour moi font un peu « cheap » pour un 4* : pas de chaussons dans la chambre et des distributeurs de gel douche. La partie salée du petit déjeuné offre peu...

“Genom trevligt hotell. Fina vyer över mjuka fjäll/alper. Personalen kunde utmärkt engelska. Lätt att parkera bil, men ingen laddplats i närheten (2024). Vackert och lungt. Vintertid går luften bokstavligt talat utanför fönstret. Lite slitna rum men inget fel i det. Charmigt.”

“The room was huge and clean. The breakfast selection was excellent and the access to the slopes was straightforward. The navette stops right outside the hotel. The communal areas are starting to look a little tired. Would stay again.”

“Lovely hotel in centre of Les Gets perfect for exploring local area. The hotel is run by a very freindly couple who were very helpful answereinf any questions we had about the local area etc. Very well appointed hotel and the breakfast was amazing and very good value.”

“The staff were very pleasant, but overall the rooms were very tired. Bathrooms are in need of an upgrade and towels had holes in. It was disappointing not to have a bath, I didn’t even think to check when booking. Nice to have the option of a sauna, but the jacuzzi was too cold to use and you had to request the sauna to be turned on, and only between 3.30-7pm, a bit of an odd and annoying system. Breakfast was very basic. Overall I wasn’t very impressed, and wouldn’t recommend. ”

“Well equipped apartment Good location for ski in ski out Great view Says sleeps four but is very tiny and with 2 teenage boys it was not easy at times The towels in the bathroom are tiny so would recommend taking your own. ”

“Très déçu par ce séjour sur plusieurs points ! Les chambres réservées ne correspondent pas du tout aux photos du site, à peine 8 m2, pas de bureau, une cabine de douche en polyester (comme sur un bateau de plaisance sans le bleu de l'océan....) Aucun personnel à l'accueil, du digicode et de l'anonymat qu'on n'imagine pas pour un tarif de 144 € / nuit !!!! Je ne recommande certainement pas cet hôtel ...”

“Superb location a minutes walk from the main ski lift. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Accommodation was of a reasonable standard, self check in so little interaction with staff who we only saw around breakfast, but were very attentive with any queries over WhatsApp. ”
