Short Ski Stay in Morzine

We stayed in the Cosy Chilly Powder for Three nights and really enjoyed the Experience. Great location at the foot of the main Avoriaz Gondola and you can ski in on your way down the Mountain. All the Team were Super Friendly and Helpful and food especially Breakfast Really Good. Felt like we were being hosted in someones Home Chalet. Would Highly Recommend Peter and Tracey

Effectivement, quatre-étoiles est un peu surcoté, je dirai plutôt 2 étoiles +. Largement rattrapées par la gentillesse de l’équipe qui nous a reçu, on s’occupe très bien de nous, le petit déjeuner est très convenable. On y reviendra.C’est un hôtel très calme.

Near Prodains cable express to Avoriaz skiing

Hotel is on walking distance to the Prodains cable lift to Avoriaz skiing centre. There are restaurants nearbye. The Prodains restaurant has an excellent diner. Rooms are a bit outdated, warm water comes slowly, but the location is well maintained. Nice clean, but small jacuzzi, excellent breakfast and service. You can get a discount on local attractions, including the cable lift. If you go to Chamonix, order train or cable lift car by internet and leave early to find a parking place and avoid waiting lines.

My husband and I have just returned from 4 nights at Chilly Powder and had an incredible stay. The lodge is warm and welcoming, with all the staff being fantastic - super friendly, helpful and lovely. Special shout out to Richie who is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet and every day gave us super useful insights & tips on where to ski & what to avoid for an intermediate skier like myself. The evening food was fantastic - hearty but also lighter and healthier than your typical ski resort stodge. We also enjoyed every afternoon in the hot tub with a beer looking out onto snow, trees and mountains! The chalet is incredibly children friendly which was fine by us (breakfast was a bit chaiotic but by 10pm it was near silent, which suited us fine as we wanted a good sleep before skiing) - just be aware to avoid certain times in the communal areas if you want peace and quiet. I would 100% recommend Chilly Powder and will look to return with my sister and nephew once he’s a bit older to enjoy the kids club and ski school. Thanks to everyone there who made our trip amazing!

Детский отель в Авориаз

Сравниваю с Австрией (долина Целлерталь) с виду домики одинаковые, но места гораздо меньше, номера маленькие, бар маленький, обещали ванну в заявке, на самом деле нет, сауна 1*1,5 м это никуда не годиться (хотя искали с сауной), джакузи на улице, но чтобы в него попасть из сауны то надо пройти через весь отель и пройти через столовую! И джакузи часто занята ( помещается максимум 4 человека) утром европейские завтраки стандартные, вечером поужинать 45 € (дороговато только сет меню), Стоянка есть, в номерах тепло, пылесосят редко, расположение очень хорошее (250 м до подъемника) ботинки не успевают высыхать так как сушки как таковой нет, просто помещение тёплое, персонал и хозяйка очень услужливые стараются! В общем жить можно, но если был в Австрии уже смотришь под определенным углом) ну и самое главное, что это дороже чем в Австрии, как мне показалось это местная особенность...возможно если заплатить в два раза дороже то будет похоже, но есть ли смысл. И все таки спасибо хозяйке отеля за ее труд, видно что она и коллектив очень стараются! И да...для детей тут очень все подходит, мне даже показалось что отель семейный для детей! Возможно приеду с детьми в будущем.
