“This place is a complete disaster. The confirmation email listed a different address than the actual location, and the phone number provided was also incorrect. After a long and frustrating effort to finally track down the real address, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude, as if it were my fault for not being able to find the place. It genuinely feels as though they do not want people to visit.”

Ein fairer Preis wurde mir zuvorkommender Freundlichkeit und netten Service kombiniert. Das Hotel hat mit Sicherheit schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, dass ein oder andere abgestoßene Möbelstück, in die Jahre gekommene Teppichböden und Matratzen, Duschvorhänge statt Duschkabinen oder Glaswände sprechen für sich. “Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family; town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center.”

“Needing to leave early in the day to catch a flight in Frankfurt, they accommodated us by providing their usual breakfast earlier than normal. Much appreciated. With hotter summers having more impact on comfortable room temperatures, fans to move air around in rooms may be a more affordable option with the lack of air conditioning. ”
