“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

“I really wanted to love this property because the location is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We stayed here from June 16–23 with a group of seven. During our stay, our section of the property experienced repeated power outages while other areas of the hotel still had electricity. We also went two nights without hot water. We found insects in our room during our stay. I understand that this is a tropical destination and seeing an occasional bug is expected, but...

“This was a nice boutique hotel in a cozy bay. Traveled with my husband and daughter. Our room felt alittle cramped and would have definitely preferred a larger room. Everything else was great. Water taxis, excursions, restaurants were all within walking distance. The shuttle was great to and from airport. If you want a quiet less commercialized experience would highly recommend.”

“Cocolobo is a peaceful, serene paradise! The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Gail and her staff were helpful, friendly and truly made our stay personal and enjoyable - a special shout out to Misa who went above and beyond! We would definitely book Cocolobo again for a return trip to Roatan!”

“The hotel was so cute and clean and right across from half moon bay. Restaurants, bars, shops and water taxi within walking distance. The staff was amazing and so nice. It also has the most beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back to Roatan and stay at Mr. Tucan!”
