“Lovely welcoming staff and informative introduction. Comfortable, spacious room with delicious cooked breakfast. Located in centre of town with off street parking. We loved our 2 nights here!”

“Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this.”

“Remote location. Nearest village is cygnet which is about 13min drive away. Larger town Huonville is 30 min drive. We choose this location to chase the aurora and it did not disappoint. Absolutely wonderful cabin. Equipped with everything you need. Extremely comfortable, quiet and picturesque.”

“Very quiet and serene. Looks and feels like newly renovated. Very clean and pleasant. Close to a scenic drive to the southern tip of the island. Though it is about 20 minutes drive from the nearest restaurant. But you can always cook. Very nice experience especially for city folks.”

“We had a lovely, peaceful stay. My husband and I along with our son, his wife and two year old daughter had a wonderful five days in Lucindale. Our grand daughter loved the paddymelons, that were always grazing on the lawns. Surprisingly we were patient enough to see two of the resident platypus in one of the prettiest ponds I have seen. The bedrooms and living areas were very comfortable and the kitchen had all appliances needed to cook a family meal, although there are plenty of restaurants...

“Thanks for the lovely stay, the house and location are beautiful, probably one of the most peaceful and quiet places we have stayed. The house is by far the most well organized and equipped we have stayed in, it had all the essentials in case we arrived late and couldn't stop for supplies. We especially appreciated all the tea and coffee :) Thanks Paul, Kate & kids.”

“We arrived on a cold, wet afternoon and were delighted to find the fire alight and lights on. The welcome supplies in the fridge and fresh fruit were very much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Beautiful decor and art works. The information provided on the artists and history was appreciated as well.”

“This property was amazing! The wood fireplace and the location on the property was just spectacular! Heidi and her husband was fantastic. We rang to say we would be there in the dark and they had the fireplace going for us so the place was nice and warm for our arrival. They even had breakfast provisions for us in the fridge and a freshly made loaf of their own bread! Could not fault our stay!”
