Hats off to the chefs for the range of delicious foods for the buffets. Sri Lanka is open and I’d recommend the Cinnamon Citadel as a great place to stay. "We stayed in a Signature Premium Suite and can't fault the room at all. It was in good shape, spotlessly clean and very spacious. Staff were incredibly friendly and the golf buggy shuttle provided by the hotel was very helpful, especially when it was raining. The food at the bar was lovely, as were the drinks. Both the pools were really big and the hotel is in a beautiful location. Only downside for us was the buffet for dinner which is why we decided to eat at the bar the second night. Would highly recommend this hotel!"

"It was not quite what I expected. It was not 5 star by US standards, but it was ok. The mosquitoes were a bit much- having them in our bedroom and bathroom was annoying, but the staff did their best to help. Overall, it was ok, probably one of the better hotels in Kandy."
