"The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. "This historic palace of empress Victoria is beyond exceptional. The grounds were pristine with trees from all over the world. The palace is full of oil paintings, stained glass and exquisitely carved furniture. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, a two person bathtub and music in the bathroom.
