"Not a proper airport hotel. 1. Before arriving I received two text messages and eventually a call via whatsapp to inquire about my arrival time. When I finally got there I understood why. The hotel is tiny. Rooms dont have numvers they are called ruby, gold and platinum. And the receptionist was planning his evening. 2. It is normal to chitchat during checkin. It is decidedly not normal that your checkin comes to a grinding halt because the receptionist decides to share their life story...

"It is a motel-style hotel located on highway 66 midway between Frankfurt and Mainz. It is conveniently located and nice for a break for those who are traveling by car. Facilities are fine and the breakfast is as good as one would expect."

"I do love to stay at independent hotels. They have a refreshing difference to the same-same feeling your normally get with chain hotels. This one is 3 star, and was therefore not sumptuous, but it was clean, comfortable, well decorated, seemed to run well, and had a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was extra, but definitely worth the money. Recommeded!"

"Was there a vineyard view? I missed that! No reception, just a note on an always open door to call somebody. I probably did not react well as the last time this happened (also in Germany) it was a disaster! Parking is around the back, but you have to go 1-200 mtrs up the road the get to the turning - and they guy on the phone seemed to have no idea how to assist. Got my key from the key safe on the wall, parked and made my way to the room. To be fair, the room was OK, but the TV had no...
