If you want to experience Mardin’s traditional stone houses, this family-run guesthouse is an excellent choice. The architecture of Mardin’s interlocking stone houses is very open to the smoke from the barbecue in the adjacent building, as well as to music and ambient sounds. In this regard, Ana Talia House is one of the most peaceful accommodation options available. As a family-run business, they offer both warm hospitality and professional service.

Nice rooms — but the Junior Room is really quite small. Good to know before booking: you can upgrade to a larger room for a small additional fee. The architecture is full of stone arches and niches, almost like staying in a cave, yet everything is very clean and well maintained.
