“Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised This hotel looked great in the Expedia photos, but upon arrival, it was a completely different story—false advertising at its finest. “We had a wonderful stay at Green View. The hotel is newly build, comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast and dinner were great. Location is good to see the sights. We would recommend staying here!”

“Beautiful surroundings, tucked away on the Lakeside as the name suggests. Nice quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk into the centre (15-20 minutes), but also possible to wave down a tuk tuk once you get to the main road (about 150 SL rupees to the clocktower). The rooms were big and clean. “Excellent and very helpful staff Thank you to the ladies at the front desk. My front view was a little pond where you will hear a chorus of frog ensemble playing their evening symphonies and in the morning beautiful wading birds warming up for the day. ”

“On average good place. However it needs some renovation in skme areas including surrounding, landscapes, etc. Outside bathrooms wasn't a fit for us as I had old parents.”

“The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price.”

“Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!”
