“This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. ”

Arrivé a 23h30, le propriétaire dit ne pas avoir de réservation ( confirmation et paiement ok sur hotel.com 1semaine avant..) obligé de payer une seconde fois le prix de la chambre ( en espèces bien sur et sans facture !!!). “The Heritage is set in a fabulous location, in magnificent grounds on the edge of a lake, peaceful and comfortable. Yet in easy reach of the Sacred City. The staff were helpful and breakfasts superb.”

“The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. ”

“This place is amazing. It was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we were really pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well, the pool was lovely with a gorgeous view, the bathroom was well equipped, and the kottu roti that we had for dinner was delicious. The hotel is just outside of Anuradhapura but it’s only a maximum 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the sacred sites (200 LKR max). You can...
