“Great location for an event at The Great Barn”

“No issues with the stay, complimentary butter, Jam and milk in the fridge. Along with sugar, tea, coffee and biscuits. Even had washing powder. Only issue was when sat on the sofa there was no table to put your drinks on, I ended up using a waste paper bin turned upside down. In the bathroom the glass shower door you can’t open so have to get in at the far end of the bath and walk down the bath, with the water on this gets slippery so could do with a bath mat.”

“Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it ”

“There is no parking … How you can advertise bumping up a high kerb onto the pavement to park is wrong , we would not of booked this property … Only suitable for 2 people not 4 Needs a good deep clean ”

“we were there with some friends and we kept getting threatened because of our age probably but we assured them that we werent there for a party , they were saying they were gonna come out of nowhere to make sure we were 5 , she also added on to threaten us that if we left late she was going to keep our deposit money our whole stay the was bery uncomfortable and after we left they refused to give us part of our deposit back and although we cleaned the house they claimed that we left it dirty...

“Great communication directly with owners. Dealing with Expedia was awful. Parking was easy on street....nicely decorated house with good facilities.”

“The apartment was good and in a good location. If there was on site parking it would have been excellent. Overall happy with our stay.”

“Overall the house was comfortable and cosy. The only drawback was that we did not find any extra pillows and bedrooms have no lampshades. The location was excellent and only around 25 mins walk to the town centre. Tasco is only 10 mins walk away and Abington Park around 15mins walk. Other shops are also within walking distance. The host was always reachable and even allowed us to keep the suitcases in the house after check out at 11am since the taxi came for us later. Will definitely recommend. ”

“Our stay was everything we expected. Very clean, kitchen well stocked to allow home cooking, games available for a rainy day, a huge tv. Easy access to caravan on a very well presented quiet site with easy access to all venues in Northampton.”
