“Breakfast - There needs to be improvements on the selection and quantities. One of the days went to breakfast and they literally said a certain goof was finished and it would take 45 minutes to make it . Cleanliness - The corridors had damp smell. One of the days they had an air humidifier in the corridor which sorta helped. But in the room the aircon had a funny sound and air wasn’t fresh. ”

“As previous reviews indicate, this is a wonderful setting, rivalling a Greek Island or even the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Beautiful view and accommodations. Very warm and friendly staff. Good food with many choices. Good hot water even with Solar. Would have liked internet access in the room and perhaps a little more attention to timely food delivery. We had a delightful stay!”

“The property is has the benefit of a fantastic location, good staff and good catering provision. Structurally, accommodations provide a bare minimum, sparsely maintained buildings with poor logistical infrastructure getting to the rooms. ”

“Had an excellent stay at Ilala Crest Lodge. Staff were incredibly friendly. I had a large well appointed room/ flat with sitting area and separate bedroom. Food in the restaurant was first class some of the best I have ever had in Africa. There is also a pleasant pool and bar area. The room rates are excellent compared to local competitors. Would highly recommend!!”

“It’s a bit off the road, but nice and clean. A simple place with “no frills “. We ate well and rested well also. Be sure and ask for directions, Google maps takes you to the wrong place!”
