“There was initial disagreement over how many rooms we had booked that would have been resolved quickly if a representative of the hotel were on premises. Host, who could be reached only by phone, insisted that AC worked in the hotel, when it did not. Once resolved, the AC stopped sometime in middle of night. On positive note, public spaces and guest rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is just steps from the ocean. Certainly not the fault of the hotel, but there is no Uber or...

“El bungalo es muy bonito, comodo, practico. Buen servicio del personal. El lugar es muy bello, pues esta dentro de una reserva natural. El desayuno es bueno y rico, pero me hubiera gustado que el desayuno dulce tuviera la opcion de fruta, una coctel de frutas, talvez con frutos secos y yogur... algo mas sano sin tantas harinas y azucar. Repetiria sin duda.”

“Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. ”
