“Wonderful little resort. Stay in the main lodge, the cabins and lake are 2 miles away with zero onsite transportation. Very helpful staff, Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure my late night arrival was absolutely perfect. She is exactly what genuine hospitality looks like. “The walls are too thin. Very noisy, people loud way after midnight, tried to call office to complain, no answer. I will not stay here again.”

“What made our stay pleasant was Kellie. She is pleasant, helpful, and mindful. When I called, she took time to answer my question. When we had an issue with the room, she fixed it right away. The hotel is outdated but it met our needs. The furniture in the room is old. The room smelled musty but bearable. The bed is good and we had a good night sleep.”

“Breakfast was not as nice as during other stays. Frittatas were good though. Issues with our door lock but staff were super helpful. Cabin window and outdoor furniture slightly broken. “Loved the view of the river and all the wildlife we saw. From our porch swing we enjoyed seeing river otters, bucks; does with their young, eagles including one with a fish in it's talons and numerous birds and butterflies. The room was comfortable, clean and kitchen appointed with all you need. Bicycles on sight to enjoy the trails or take to town. We had a wonderful/relaxing time and come home refreshed!”

“They are in the middle of a serious update, which is a good thing. My bed was very comfy!! TV is great, offering lots of drug commercials (thank goodness for the 20 minute side effect warnings!! Just need the whole place emptied and DEEP SCRUBBED. Like, shut er down and clean it up!! It'd make more sense than what you're doing meow. “My stay was not good, for the price I paid I should of had a little better of a stay.. staff was not helpful, housekeeping didn't come around to give clean towels and the blanket and comforter both on the bed had a nasty musty/pee smell and when I went to the front desk to ask for different ones, I was told housekeeping had left for the day and front desk "didn't have keys" for the clean linen closet that the housekeeper took it with her so I had to "deal" with the stinky blankets and no clean...

“Nice clean room, with easy checkin and parking right outside the door. We were on the ground floor I’d recommend the upper level as ground floor soundproofing is not great.”

“It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe.”

“We were here in the fall after the golf course closed and “winter pricing” was in affect. We were told it is quite busy during peak season, but it was darn near abandoned in November. Beautiful place with one golf course still under construction, more condos recently completed…lots going on for future amenities. Room was open and roomy with high ceilings and fireplace. View was gorgeous! We’ll be back!”

“Staff was very polite and nice, but we had paid in advance with hotels.com 3 months earlier - and were charged again when checked in, Howard’s hotel said they couldn't help our situation, (since they had changed or updated their computer system) and it didn’t show where we had paid.. but hotels.com contacted them and we were reimbursed so all turned out well. ”
