“My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Lake House on Saturday, September 5th. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the gorgeous property with giant trees, a stunning view of the lake, great music by Grateful Upstate Too-do-loo on stage. Personal firewood brought by staff to all guests' chimneys! We can't wait to return! Family owned and Sabina was a most excellent host.👌”

“Very nice comfortable room and very reasonable price, we booked twin beds and were pleasantly surprised to find out that each bed was in a different room so we had lots of space! The motel is old-fashioned with a large breakfast room, 3 cozy living rooms and chairs outdoors . They don't serve breakfast but tea, coffee and water are available 24/7 and there are 2 nearby diners , both are good plus a really nice pizza restaurant , all within walking distance. “The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Checking staff were friendly. Only stayed one night but glad we chose this hotel.”

“Dirty hotel in general carpets stunk we had ants and gnats flying all over the room. People/ staff were nice but the hotel is terribly run down. We bought sheets from Walmart to use in order to get remotely comfortable staying overnight.”

“There nothing unique about the facility, and we will not stay there again unless their customer service improves. It is appears that the facility is under renovation - this was not a major issue, the room was comfortable. But the staff, particularly the manager, response to issue was poor. There was no TV service during the stay. We called the front desk and the person who answered the phone claimed there was an outrage in the area. The fire/CO2 device was missing, vacant space with wiring...

“Not much to look at from the outside, but lobby and room was pristine, had the appearance of a recent renovation. The staff was very accomodating with a requested early check-in, thanks again! The winding driveway is strange, be careful of opposing traffic.”

“Stayed here twice for our Cooperstown baseball trips. Place is a great little getaway spot. Quiet area. Matt is an awesome host and does a fantastic job with breakfast. If we make another trip next year, this is where we will be staying!”
