“Although it is dog friendly, if you have a dog you cannot use the hotel facilities. Your dog is only allowed in reception and your room. There is no where you can use the dining facilities or have breakfast if you have a dog with you. There is no where near the hotel that you can eat or purchase food and drinks. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.”

“Very friendly staff and welcome,,,, but,,,, hotel room was cold (no heater) and one room had no serviceable shower head holder (hand held shower only). No power point near the bed, and incredibly poor lighting. Nice honesty bar and courtyard. Rated 4 star, but I would class it as 2 ”

“Hostal con todos los servicios de un hotel : por ej. hay alguien - muy amable - en recepción todos los días hasta las 17:00, y después hay un servicio de videoportero (que no utilizamos). Habitación práctica con cuarto de baño privado. No se oye mucho ni el ruido de la calle (por ej. el viernes por la noche) ni los vecinos en el hostal. No dudaremos en volver a este hostal la próxima vez en Palencia.”

“I cant fault this place. It was so relaxing and the owners were helpful and friendly. Excellent room and breakfast. The restaurant in the small town was closed. So the owner kindly warmed us up a ready meal we had bought. He served it to us in the breakfast room and suplied beer and wine at a very reasonable price. Parking was just a few steps away from the hotel. Ampudia itself, is a very interesting ,small town, which is well worth a visit. I highly recommend this place and i cant wait to...

“We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...
