“This is not a hotel, this is a very, very small property that sits on a cliff overlooking the beach. There are 3 bungalows where guest stay. There's parking space for maybe 4 vehicles inside the gated property if everyone cooperates. If you are the 5th car coming in, you are out of luck. The food is hit or missed. The people I saw inside were surfers, not a family environment.”

“We had an excellent stay at Alma Azul. This is a hidden gem in El Salvador. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and were extremely attentive. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The room was simple, but functional, with hot water, decent internet and a very comfortable bed. The hotel was located in a very quiet area, just a few minutes from the beach - you could hear the waves crashing on the shore from the bathroom. We would definitely return.”
