“When we first arrived it was clear the hotel was very old and not taken care of, perhaps even closed for a period of time as there was a flag that showed "opened" and under new management. The lobby had ceramic tile with very little seating and cold materials/feel. There was obvious construction, with dry wall dust, towels on the floor in several places to clean something up and just left there. “There was no phone, even to the front desk. TheDirectv was horrible. Bath/shower plumbing was difficult to deal with. Was not informed a new roof was going to be installed in the morning. Pounding early in the morning about gave me a heart attack!!”

“The property is very convient to the area resteraunts and stores. It is alos conveinient to the sunshine Fairgrounds. The staff were super helpful and friendly. My room needed minor maintainance while I was there and that was done immediately with no fuss. The only issue I had was that the rooms could use a " facelift". “The place is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but parking is a pain. They need to paint lines. The instructions they give are to "park diagonally" but without lines in the tight parking area, people park like idiots and if you are last in, you'll have to park elsewhere. Both nights I stayed, I couldn't park in front of my unit because people park all over the place or even across 2-3 units. Everything else was fine.”

“The hotel is a converted old National Guard armory building, and the conversion was done well. The outside has picturesque parapets and iron bar studded widows. The interior features a large hall that is used for catering events. The sides of the building interior is studded with guest rooms. The rooms are spacious with nice furniture and amenities. The large 3rd floor common rooms were decorated with quality vintage furniture, paintings and tasteful taxidermy. Easy walking distance to nice...
