The road leading to the property is in terrible condition—our driver damaged his suspension and exhaust trying to reach the hotel. I do not know where the miscommunication happened, Expedia or misrepresented by the owner/manager, but the owner/manager was extremely rude while trying to figure out what happened to our reservation. His words...don't bother coming at all...so we did not. Unfortunate because we were really looking forward to our stay. We travel to Ghana frequently and this was the first time ever we had trouble with any stays. BEWARE. "

"I'm rating this property in comparison to the hotels and short-term rentals I've stayed at in the United States, England, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria. In all my travels in these countries, Royal Golf Views (RGV) is the only apartment that has exceeded my expectations. It's located in Ahodwo, one of Kumasi's safest neighbourhoods. The unit I booked was designed with high-quality finishing, not shiny sub-standard materials. It has a central air-conditioner and the regulator is decentralized, with each space in a unit having a separate adjustable thermostat. Also, RGV is clean, well-maintained, and good value for money as it's very spacious. In fact, when visiting Kumasi, there's no need to waste your time checking anywhere else until you've contacted RGV to determine the availability of a unit. This is because others over promise and under deliver, unlike Royal Golf Views. "
