“We had the BEST time at Ella Retreat! Sadly on 34 hours long but this hotel is seriously beautiful, better than the pictures. “Vi bodde här i tio dagar och hade det helt fantastiskt. Hit åker man för lugn och ro, närhet till naturen och avslappning vid poolen. Ändå är det relativt nära till många utflyktsmål. Vi besökte nationalparkerna Yala och Udawalawe. Vi besökte bergsstaden Ella med sina teplantager och vi åkte till Mirissa för bad och valskådning. Boendet hjälper till med alla bokningar om man vill. “We stayed at this delightful mountain cabin in Ella. It hangs off the mountain, faces directly west for the perfect sunset between two peaks. The view is breathtaking. The pictures do not do the tiniest bit of justice. It's a brand new cottage with 2 seperate units. One with a bedroom + loft sleeps 4 people. The other is a two bedroom. The only downside to this place is getting there.. some steel hills, big vehicles cannot go. Tuk Tuks... that struggle to get up the hill or walk. It's worth it...
