“The room was nice and clean. Walls are paper thin so we heard everything from the group next door.”

“For a quick bed and breakfast overnight stay, this place does the job. The rooms aren't bad, and the bed comfortable. The drive is about 10 minutes from the hotel. While they do offer hotel shuttle it was hard to identify the driver. Additionally, the person at the front desk isn't always there when needed. The breakfast was good. Overall its a place you can go to for your overnight stay. ”

“Check-in Front desk area all appeared ok. Entering our room it all went BADLY very fast. The room is extremely small and never thought from the picture literally no extra space. Cobwebs under the desk, wooden tv backboard busted with a huge crack along entire length. Paint color a depressing dingy grey not as pictured. Ceiling tiles dirty, mis-aligned,broken. No space to open large travel suitcase except in the entrance walk space, must close it to exit room. Security door lock look tampered...

“It is sad to see where Mt Irvine is at. A once vibrant hotel it’s now like a ghost town. No one there. No vibrancy. Water available for a few hours per day, no appealing meals. The entire hotel needs a lift in appearance but it is clear that its potential is still there. Hard to recommend the hotel in its current form. I was disappointed. ”
