“The room was not clean. There were some sort of metal shavings on the ground. The door handle was broken. Furniture unclean. Wifi did not work a bit. No cleaners came in between the days to change towels, toilet paper, etc. The staff was friendly for the most part but the infrastructure is terrible”

“The receptionist was so welcoming and assisted us with breakfast when we couldn’t be there on time. Big up the chef for his delicious food, my child loves his fish in coconut milk and eggs 👍. Our room was generally clean and the environment as well together with, the fridge, microwave and Cable TV was in proper working condition. I would definitely recommend staying a night or two. ”

The views of the hills in the distance and the staghorn plants that surround as you take a dip in the pool are incredibly peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, the neighbors and the shop up the road were so kind. We walked to grocrey stores and restaurants every evening! We will be back every time we visit Trinidad. ”

“The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. ”

“The space is great it needs updating though. I saw from last year other guests suggested a few things that would make a guest’s stay much more enjoyable but those things one year later has not been done. We stayed for carnival and the distance to events held in the Savannah was amazing. Message to the owner(s) toilet paper holder, towel rack, shower door or curtain, spray for ants, fix bathroom door so it can close properly, a/c in living room, new pots, paper plates, plastic forks, kettle...

“The sheets were dirty. When I opened the faucet in the shower, brown dirty water came out. The room smelled liked it just got sorayed with a generous amount of Baygon. Although the location is good it is definitely not worth it.”

“Positives: decent size mini fridge and microwave. Both came in handy. Negatives: No table or chairs in the room or in the porch. Booked for 3 persons but there were only 2 towels (staff was very friendly and efficient in providing additional towel). Some restaurant menu items were obviously overpriced. Limited access to the pool as this is a shared facility with a swimming club that had scheduled classes most of time.”
