"Breakfast with a good view of the city. Was supposed to park a short distance away from the hotel as the hotel parking was unable to accommodate the bigger ride I had which was a Toyota Noah. However managed to park outside the hotel after the staff saw that I have children. Parking is 1000jpy per day. "

"Great hotel near the Asahikawa Station and the Aeon Mall, which was convenient for the Asahikawa Snow Festival (or would have been if I hadn't booked the week before the festival :-) ). The hotel is also, extremely conveniently, in front of a bus stop that comes straight from the airport. Simply stay on the bus until the stop after the station and step into the hotel. For Japan, the size of the twin room is _massive!_ Plenty of room for luggage, clothes storage, and potentially cricket...

"I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too."

"I came during the Winter Festival, and it's conveniently close to Asahikawa Station and the ice sculpture street. However, I had trouble finding the place at first, and I even entered a different Hotel Route-Inn nearby by mistake. After finding the right place and entering the room, I found the luggage rack already open and in the middle of the narrow corridor so I had difficulty entering the room with my suitcase. "Very good front desk service. Rooms are good. Bathrooms are terrible. There is just a tiny little ledge to put toiletries on. Not enough for a couple. The sink is a narrow-rimmed bowl with a narrow rim, and no solid rounding surface to put things on either. We had 2 rooms, and one do them had a smelly mildewed shower curtain. How can housekeeping not notice this?"

The hotel is also located across from the Aeon Mall, so there are plenty of food options to go...
