“We stayed for a week at Tradewinds and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we were to return to American Samoa. Two things to be mindful of- the hotel provided us with 2 water bottles each day. There is no notice not to drink the tap water, but most sources recommend getting bottled water. “The building is very historic room was nice and big, but other than this, there’s not much to recommend about this place. The front desk doesn’t open until noon (or sometimes later, no advanced warning on that), and if you need anything during the non-open Times, they give you a phone number to call.
