sweet memories

Our experience with Swiss County was very memorable n satisfying.it's location n scenic beauty r it's greatest assests.Of course the comfort of the rooms n the personal touch extended by the courteous staff was very sweet.we hav taken bak with us golden memories n the fragrance of the flowers that envelope the surroundings of the hotel .

Very homely friendly and comfortable hotel

If you are in munnar you would enjoy a stay at this boutique property the alpine suite is huge with a grand view the restaurant is small and cosy with limited menu but tasty food except for the wifi which is unpredictable one will surely like this place

Above average hotel

This hotel is located in the mountains outside Munnar. Gorgeous area. We were here for only 1 night. The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable. I would suggest a room on the back side of the hotel for the mountain views and to be away from the road. There was no lift.

Solides Hotel mit freundlichem Service. Klasse Ausblick vom Frühstücksrestaurant in toller landschaftlicher Lage. Wenn auch doch ein recht gutes Stück von Munnar entfernt.

A very good stay

Property is very good and valley view rooms are worth. Rooms are good and spacious. Staff was pleasant, helpful and overall excellent. I would rate food and dining ambience average. Overall a very good stay.

Just WOW!

The hotel is quite nice and modern which was already a good first impression. The welcome received from the staff on arrival was very good and the fresh juice offered while we were waiting to check in was delicious. We were already happy with our choice of hotel but when we entered our room...WOW! We booked an Alpine Suite and it was big, clean and modern with a balcony and a breathtaking view over the mountains. It was not the most expensive hotel we booked for our Kerala trip but definitely the best one we stayed in. I would go there again without any hesitation. Breakfast is quite nice as well.

Good place to stay with Fantastic view of valley

Great place to stay in Munnar..bit interior, but the ride is worth it...cost of the food in the attached restaurant is bit on a higher side..but we can give it for the view we have from the restaurant:-) Overall we had a great time for 2 days..

Escape to the Hill Station

I did not realise it was a 3* hotel - I thought it was 4*, everything was so nice and brilliant. Room clean and tidy, fancy, staff absolutely lovely, friendly and very helpful, food really tasty. Situated 5min walk from tea plantations. Kingfishers, sunbirds, raptors, bulbuls, lizards can be seen in the plantations. Great surroundings. View from the hotel is stunning, especially sunrise from the restaurant terrace!

Good new place in Munnar

We reached to find that the reception was allotting a 'mountain view' room without a patio (private balcony / patio was promised in hotels.com description which made me book this place in the first place). We were given excuses saying all rooms were booked. I refused to check-in and also escalated the matter to hotels.com post which the reception miraculously 'shifted existing guest' to give us a room with valley view and private balcony. As we found during our stay over the next two days - the hotel was not at all full and there were plenty unoccupied rooms - so the fact that we were initially offered the smallest room with worst view still beats me. After the initial disappointment, the stay got comfortable. The hotel is meticulously designed and has a classy, comfy and European feel. Gardens are well maintained, there are books for you to read and bicycles if you are interested in a ride down the mountain slopes. The rooms spacious with all requisite amenities. Cleanliness is well maintained since the hotel is relatively new. Special mention to the roof-top restaurant which serves amazing food and has a great view. All staff is polite and helpful.

Nice stay..

Overall a pleasant stay. The only let down was the hotel location/neighbourhood. The moment you step out of the hotel, it is neither near the market nor close to any tea farm. Enjoyed watching sunrise from the room patio.

Quaint and cozy

This is a super cute boutique hotel. All of the rooms are charming and comfortable, and probably the cleanest rooms we stayed in throughout our visit. The staff is incredibly helpful and really want to make sure you have a wonderful time. They have great advice on where to go and what to see, and will help make sure you get there safely. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff. Be sure to book in advance, this place will fill up fast! Great value, too. Beautiful location. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay!

Awesome Plae

The hotel did not have any signs , so it was a bit difficult to locate it and we spent aroun 40 minutes trying to figure out the location, but it was worth the trouble once we reached there. We stayed in Alpine suite and everything was exactly as in the pictures, absolutely clean and lovely suite with a view from the patio to die for. The staff was very very friendly incuding the guard and the receptionist. Food that the chef prepared was good but could have been better. The continental breakfast was complimentary and enough for two. We spent 2 nights and absolutely fell in love with the place. I definitely plan to stay here when I come back again. Highly recommended and a 5 star absolutely
