"Had a wonderful stay there, although the spa was a bit old and dated, the views from the room and the restaurant were spectactular, and the food was like a michellan star quality top class, and the staff couldnt do enough for us,i'd go back again in a heart beat 10/10"
"Obviously a fabulous location. The property is old with charm but the rooms were clean, well decorated and cozy with amazing views. Breakfast was very good with great cooked breakfast and fantastic service. All the staff were really helpful and friendly."
"The place was not as we expected and we were pleasantly surprised.
The room was clean and bright and comfortable, there were a few creaky floor boards and my wife thought the bed was a bit lumpy, but it full of character. the breakfast was lovely and all the staff were extremely helpful and kind.
Will go again,"
"On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."
"The hotel is a bit dated but the welcome was very warm and helpful, the room was clean, we literally wanted somewhere to sleep for the night and we only paid £59 for a large double room - could have paid slightly extra for a better view but we really didn't need that - we arrived in the dark and left early. Staff very friendly and helpful recommending places to eat etc."
"Had an excellent stay at Sailors Rest; we had room one which is at street level so some noise was to be expected. Room itself was much larger than expected and bathroom likewise. All freshly decorated and spotless.
Parking on the street is a lottery but there is a public carpark within a minutes walk.
Location right on the quay and easy access to everything. We were blessed with calm sunny days so each morning the quay was a hive of activity with sailing clubs; fishing boats etc"
